Beyond is looking to hire a search executive based in London with 2 years of relevant experience in search (both PPC & SEO) and account management. The role will be client-facing with account management going hand-in-hand with technical SEO expertise.
Role
As a Search Executive, you will have some experience in a search marketing role and be familiar with all of the major search engines. Both analytical and creative, the Search Executive will have some experience positioning on search engines. HTML coding experience is useful for this role, and you will also have experience working with a team on ranking for the likes of Google, Yahoo and MSN/Live/Bing for both natural search and paid search. The ideal candidate for this role will be comfortable in a client-facing role with some account management. You will have engaged in search related marketing activities including paid and natural elements, occasionally branching out into demographic targeting in social ads.

- Technical site analysis
- Keyword research, audit and strategy
- Back link strategy and implementation
- Directory submissions and revisions
- Internal link optimization
- Keyword research for PPC and SEO
- Content development
- Monitor, track, and report on natural search metrics, including trend analysis
- Social media ads
- PR & social media integration
- Content creation and distribution
- Site change implementation
- Link Analysis: including opportunities, broken links, redirects, cross linking
- Knowledge of Web Analytics tools such as Google Analytics, or Omniture
- Knowledge of SEO tools, blogs and online publications
- Understanding of social media ad targeting, development and deployment
- PPC & social media ad copy development
- PPC optimisation
Ideal Background
- University graduate
- 2 years of relevant search experience
- Some HTML, CSS and PHP knowledge
- Must be of a technical and analytical mindset with strong maths capabilities
- Some experience in an online marketing background
- Experience with creating and optimising PPC campaigns in the search, content and associated networks
- Must have a high degree of competence in spreadsheet programs
- Strong coordination skills and an ability to balance delivery dates for multiple clients
- Excellent communication skills and strong English language skills
- Copywriting experience
SEO technical skills & expertise
- a detailed understanding of Google and other local search engines webmaster guidelines, of keyword research and targeting, of content management systems and knowledge of content principles.
- an understanding of cookies, redirects, server configuration, url configuration, coding of html and javascript and analytics tagging approaches.
- Knowledge of other online marketing channels and their interactions with SEO
This is a salaried role with performance-related bonus. Base salary is up to £28k plus benefits with 25 days holiday annually, birthday day off and bar fridge in the office.
