About the Role

Beyond San Francisco is currently looking for a smart mid-level front-end developer to boost their career within our highly skilled and growing team.

The role involves creating mobile web-apps for well known brands using HTML5, CSS3 and hand-coded Javascript to develop rich animated experiences for a specific mobile platform. A background in timeline based software (such as Flash) would be an advantage and a good understanding of object oriented scripting essential.

Skills Required

• Expert Level: Hand Coded Javascript / Object Oriented Programming
• High Level: HTML5 and using CSS3 transitions for animation, or use of any animated software (like Flash). HTML4 and xHTML.

About You

• At least 5 years experience in web development (preferably agency-side)
• Creating code of the highest quality to rigorous standards, focusing on performance, and re- usability
• Strong knowledge of code documentation
• Excellent communications skills (internally and client facing)
• Experience of working with version control systems such as SVN
• Passion for best practice guidelines and coding standards
• Excellent attention to detail
• Thirst for knowledge and all things digital!

Degree in Computer Science desirable
