Digital Consultant

Full-time, London

Responsibilities will include

  • Account direction & management
  • Consulting on and delivering digital strategies
  • Creation of content and advising on digital campaigns
  • Working with the digital build, search and analytics teams to provide integrated campaigns
  • Company marketing with the senior team
  • Budget management
  • Reporting

Key Accountabilities

  • Create and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients as the primary consultative interface on assigned accounts.
  • Manage client expectations, be the primary point of contact and take responsibility for final timely delivery within budget on various projects
  • Demonstrate proficiency digital media, execution and analysis and ensure high standard of quality in these, from team members working together on projects.
  • Support other team members in client presentations, consulting and advisory.
  • Demonstrate high client service orientation at all times.
  • Be knowledgeable and up-to-speed with the digital communications industry – players, methods and other resources, and familiar with existing clients – their technologies, their markets, their competitors, and issues facing them.

  • Proactive approach to achieving and delivering quality results.
  • Tangible track record of successfully delivering individual and team projects against time, and task objectives.
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial and start up environment and understand the pressures that this brings.
  • Robust and assertive approach combined with ability to see someone else’s point of view.

Skills

  • The candidate must have demonstrated extensive social media experience. This means that the person is actively participating in a wide variety of social media activities such as blogging, community development and management, social bookmarking, commenting, etc. and is well-connected with the broader social media world.

Education, Experience

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university
  • Experience in Social media tools and techniques, Marketing (traditional, PR, new media, guerrilla and ‘word of mouth’), Technology, Project management, Editorial/Publishing.
  • Agency Experience a plus.

Track Record

  • Demonstrated passion for social media and the Internet. Proven track record in social media, blogging, publishing and evangelizing on behalf of brands and/or self.
  • Significant experience with online social networking, the blogosphere, search tools and general Web 2.0 (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Wikipedia, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with executives via presentations and verbal communications is required.
