All is Fair in Love and Costume Parties

Just like siblings in any family, we at Beyond like to engage in friendly competition with the other Next Fifteen agencies.

Whether it’s an epic Ping-Pong match in the kitchen or growing a mustache for the Movember PR/communications Agency Challenge, a little rivalry encourages passion and creativity in a fun setting, as well as promoting teamwork and communication. It gives us a chance to socialize with the people we work with everyday.

This Halloween, our London office went head-to-head with LexisPR for their pumpkin competition.

Our projector pumpkin won "Most Creative!"

In San Francisco, our former-Context Analytics-turned-Beyonders had a three-year winning streak over Text 100 in the annual Halloween costume contest. That meant that for our first year as Beyond, we had mighty big expectations to live up to.

Last year's entry: vintage Microsoft portrait

We like to say we packed a punch as “American Gladiators,” (our UK friends might know the show as just “Gladiators”) for the reality TV theme yesterday:

Also in the works: one for action shots and hobbies

We’re still waiting on the results, but win or lose, we had a great time seeing everyone dress up and let loose.

Does your business enjoy a little inter-company competition? Was your agency’s Halloween party the gala to end all galas? Show us in the comments!
