Beyond designed and built the channel using initial creative concept supplied by YouTube. The channel incorporated the YouTube Contest API, which allows users to submit videos of themselves dancing the showcased choreography.
Hosted in the cloud using Google’s App Engine, the channel had detailed Google Analytics tracking to ensure full statistical reporting was available.
Dance Studio was YouTube’s first dance contest.
